Picket 9am Tues June 16
(Budget Day)
@ Qld State Parliament, Cnr George & Alice Streets
Picket State Parliament on the day Bligh's Government outlines its outrageous plans to sell-off Queenslands public assets including rail, ports, forests & roads is an outrage.
Privatisation will mean workers being sacked, higher prices, and worse services – all in the name of profits for a few. We never voted for privatisation, & Queenslanders overwhelmingly oppose Bligh’s plan - yet the Government is ignoring the people. If Bligh doesn’t back down, she should meet the same fate as former NSW Premier Morris Iemma.
