Introducing "Biodiversity First"
Friends in the population reduction movement,
You are acquainted with many anti-immigration groups in the Anglophone world, particularly the United States. Some might wonder at the need to duplicate their efforts. But our initiative has come with the frustrating realization that while these groups address issues that are important, the most important one of them all, the biodiversity services which underpin human survival itself, is largely being ignored.
It is our sentiment that if we could make a pact with the Devil so we would forfeit the English language, Christian customs and all of our traditions if we could in return defend wildlife habitat from runaway population growth in Canada, we would gladly do so, for that is our true heritage. It is not people's headscarfs or the mosques they worship in that is important, but the wetlands and the farmland that are paved over to house them. Thus we feel the need to build an anti-immigration organization with a new emphasis, and a name that reflects that emphasis, Biodiversity First.
It is not, as critics might characterize it, a misanthropic or even biocentric enterprise. The point, again, that we are making, is that in order to survive, we humans must allot more space to other species than we have been doing, OR WE DIE WITH THEM. It is not them or us. It is us together, or nothing. This is the point Captain Paul Watson tries to make over and over again but the media will not listen. They think that the weatherman should be attacked for warning of the storm to come. With one per cent of Watson's courage we will try to repeat his warning in a different voice.
