Australian Self-Colonisation without Public Consent is Human Rights Abuse by Weak Government
18th Century Colonisation. 21st Century Colonisation. Nothing has changed.
Definitions of Colonisation
A colony is a settlement that has been established by people from a different place. The colony is under the immediate political control of the country where the colonisers came from. This country in control is usually geographically-distant, and is sometimes called the parent country or the mother country. People who migrated to settle permanently in colonies controlled by the mother country were called colonists or settlers.
When people colonise a place it means that they settle and establish a colony on that territory. Nowadays, because there is no new land left to be discovered, modern immigration may be referred to as a new type of colonisation. This depends on the extent to which immigrants keep the habits of the civilisation they left, or adopt those of the civilisation that they now inhabit."
Australia’s Government, Government media and ruling money class are overwhelmed with pride. Australia is a great country. They cite the strong economy (driven by migration induced extreme population growth), the noble fight for a Carbon Tax and genuine humanitarian concerns, as evidence that apparently justifies their collective lack of humility.
But Australia's Government is dysfunctional because it fails to question this autocratically imposed extreme population growth dogma. The truth is off the agenda, and it is not quite clear why; apart from the combined interests of the growth lobby and confused politicians.
"Totalitarianism, or totalitarian state, is a term used by some political scientists to describe a political system in which the state holds total authority over the society and seeks to control all aspects of public and private life wherever possible."
What more fundamental control of a society could exist than totalitarian self-colonisation and dispossession "by stealth and without consensus", under the pretext of humanitarian and economic rationalism?
In Australia, the state imposes extreme population growth on the people without their consent, thereby denying that key aspect of self determination. There are 204 Recognized or De Facto Independent States, including 195 widely recognized Sovereign States, worldwide.
Australia stands out with the highest rate of self-imposed extreme population growth of any State. This totalitarian policy is arguably a breach of human rights. This is the 18th century policy of colonisation being imposed in the 21st century.
The ABC is the voice of the State. It insists that this reactionary, authoritarian self-colonisation policy is an obligatory, humanitarian policy.
The ABC accepts that extreme self-colonisation will be autocratically imposed on Australians and does not question this unsustainable strategy; despite all the facts to the contrary. It does not question that, unlike in the majority of countries (with the exception of Canada and the US), this is a deliberate Government policy and is arguably Government sanctioned human rights abuse that is a perpetuation of the original dispossession imposed upon the Australian Aborigines. This strategy is based on assumptions rather than facts.
This escalation of unsustainable growth is occurring in concert with unprecedented worldwide concerns about unsustainable development!
The following KPIs support the argument of a people being “deprived of its own means of subsistence” by a deliberate Totalitarian Government policy over the last 10-15 years:
- Escalating house prices
- 3.2% annual growth in homelessness
- GDP per capita growing at less than 1% per annum while Federal Budget grows at around 8% per capita and all forms of social infrastructure expenditure are falling behind; resulting in lower effective living standards
- Unemployment rising at around 2.3% per annum as population growth rises at around 1.5-1.8% per annum
- Youth unemployment of around 15% up to age 24, combined with self-destruction of vast sectors of the economy using extreme population growth which mismanages demand, interest rates and the exchange rate, damaging global competitiveness
- Productivity (whatever that really is) is dropping at around 1% per annum
- Escalating Government debt, with interest on that debt currently at around $12 billion per annum while Australia reduces its foreign aid budget by around $7.5 billion per annum
- Etc…………
AUSTRALIAN HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION ACT 1986 - SCHEDULE 2
Part 1, Article 1, Section 2.
"All peoples may, for their own ends, freely dispose of their natural wealth and resources without prejudice to any obligations arising out of international economic cooperation, based upon the principle of mutual benefit, and international law. In no case may a people be deprived of its own means of subsistence."
Citizens are aggrieved because this is happening "by stealth and without consensus" due to the policies of all the major political parties and the ABC (in breach of its Statutory obligations) and that complaints about this have been ignored by politicians and by the ABC. It is evident that, if escalation of unemployment and homelessness are in any way exacerbated by Government orchestrated extreme population growth combined with economic sabotage in the perverse interests of the ruling money class, then this is most certainly human rights abuse. Lack of due diligence on this scale is arguably gross negligence.
Part 2, Article 2, Section 3.
"The States Parties to the present Covenant, including those having responsibility for the administration of Non-Self-Governing and Trust Territories, shall promote the realization of the right of self-determination, and shall respect that right, in conformity with the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations."
Citizens claim their rights, and those of the people of Australia, have been violated, and demand redress.
AUSTRALIAN HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION ACT 1986 - SCHEDULE 3 Declaration of the Rights of the Child
Citizens are also aggrieved by the consequential impacts of Australia's breach of its humanitarian obligations because of the direct impact of these actions on the poorest of humanity - including children in the developing world. Economic sabotage reduces the capacity for domestic and foreign philanthropic aid.
The argument centres around the Government's longstanding negligence and contempt for the facts. It has failed to perform a process of due diligence to verify that the facts do NOT provide evidence of these human rights violations. Whilst the presumption of innocence is accepted, this complaint is about negligence and its potential consequences. The evidence of suppression of the self-imposed extreme population growth issue from public policy debate supports this claim.
See below for a definition of self determination:
(Ref: http://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/self_determination_international_law)
Self determination (international law)
"Self-determination denotes the legal right of people to decide their own destiny in the international order. Self-determination is a core principle of international law, arising from customary international law, but also recognized as a general principle of law, and enshrined in a number of international treaties. For instance, self-determination is protected in the United Nations Charter and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights as a right of “all peoples.”
The scope and purpose of the principle of self-determination has evolved significantly in the 20th century. In the early 1900’s, international support grew for the right of all people to self-determination. This led to successful secessionist movements during and after WWI, WWII and laid the groundwork for decolonization in the 1960s.
Contemporary notions of self-determination usually distinguish between “internal” and “external” self-determination, suggesting that "self-determination" exists on a spectrum. Internal self-determination may refer to various political and social rights; by contrast, external self-determination refers to full legal independence/secession for the given 'people' from the larger politico-legal state."
