In the following tweet by Robert F. Kennedy Junior, he explains how, whenever your mobile phone is within earshot of you, technical companies are actually eavesdropping on your private conversations with friends and acquaintances.
The government and big tech companies have developed capacities to surveil and control the American people. This should concern us all. pic.twitter.com/hy7m9QP2rs

This confirms my own experience, whereby I have noticed, for some time, on my mobile phone Chrome web browser all sorts of technical and news items which correlate very closely with my own interests have been appearing. These include subjects that I have only talked about in the privacy of my home. I have not done internet searches on them. How My Chrome browser could have been able to work this out has been a mystery to me until now.
Whilst this news is deeply troubling, I am still feel immensely grateful to RFK Junior for having alerted me to this.
