Legitimate security experts know that full body irradiation scanners and body searches at airports don't improve security ... but the United States and Australian airport security authorities do it anyway.

They also know that not only torture is illegal, it also hasn't worked, for example at Guantanamo Bay ... but the US Feds do that also anyway in spite of public outrage.

In fact, these are their preferred way of doing things.

Why?

Criminals are as criminals do.

The people who advocate and direct these operations (and go along with them) are criminals.
