Western hypocrisy is a renewable resource
Australia and the United States are trying to put pressure on the Solomon Islands, which signed an agreement with China that allows for the possibility of creating a Chinese military base there. Although China has officially stated that there are no plans to build a military base in the Solomon Islands, Australia says this is a "red line" and that the US and Australia will not tolerate a Chinese military base near Australia. "What should happen is every newspaper and journalistic entity should pull out of the United States and you should have a massive sanctioning of the United States. No American should be welcome in any sporting event, much as they're trying to do to other nationalities, including Russian. The only way to stop this devouring of the world is to stop the devourer of the world, and to sanction it, and to withdraw from it. And ignore it and turn away from it.
Australia's decision

Anti-war activists usually rightly oppose military aggression by the United States and its allies. Currently, however, many support US-NATO against Russia, in what has been labeled by the corporate newsmedia as unjustified and unprovoked Russian aggression against the sovereign nation of Ukraine.

Have Ukrainian Nazis grown tired of fighting a hopeless war in the background, while Zelenski is lionised, and now seek the limelight and recognition for their sacrifices? Zelensky described the soldiers appearing with him as courageous, noting the Greek origins of one of them.

Lebanon Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh has denied statements made that the bank was bankrupt. Salameh has led the bank for 30 years and claims it is going about its legally-mandated role despite losses in the financial sector.
The other side of the story: Russians say their troops left Bucha before the massacre happened. They point to video by Bucha mayor of street clearing after the Russians had left, which shows no bodies in the streets.
